SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL 2009 CALENDAR ART CONTEST

Safe Routes to School is pleased to announce the 2009 Calendar Art Contest. The goal of the art contest is to increase pedestrian and bicycle safety awareness in our schools and communities. The calendar contest is open to all 4^th, 5^th and 6^th grade children, focusing primarily on schools participating in the Mississippi Safe Routes to School program. Themes have been developed to be consistent with seasons as well as the key concepts and skills taught through our trained Bicycle Instructors and their curriculum.

Official Rules Press Release Letter

Winners will receive a $25 gift certificate to a local sports store, these will be mailed directly to teachers.

Calendars will be distributed to all 4^th, 5^th and 6^thgraders in the Safe Routes to School schools and the schools of the students with winning entries.
