Membership & Board Meeting |

Bike Walk Mississippi will hold our annual membership meeting and board meeting at the Welcome Center of the Longleaf Trace in Hattiesburg September 27, 2008. The Gateway Welcome Center is located at the beginning of the Longleaf Trace near the intersection of Highway 49 and West Fourth Street.
Those wishing to enjoy a very causal group ride (about 20 miles round trip) should be ready to depart the trail head by 9AM. This is a 'show and go' ride supported only by the camaraderie of fellow BWM members. The meeting will take place at noon in the Welcome Center meeting room.
The meeting will feature the election of officers for the coming year and will also consider the addition of a few new board members. We will have some special guest such as Liz from the Desoto National Park service and Cookie Leffler from Safe Routes to School. Also invited will be the newly appointed MDOT bicycle coordinator.
